Maria is a senior at Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart. This is her second year at the school, she is an international student from Lisbon, Portugal. She is President and founder of the International Club, a club that aims to raise awareness and take action within the school community about global events. She speaks three languages: Portuguese, Spanish, and English. She loves to travel and immerse herself in different cultures. In college, she wishes to study International relations and pursue a law career.
