Concerts are a large part of our society. Everyone has their favorite artists that they wish to see live. But does everyone know how to behave? Does every concert require the same guidelines? There are so many types of concerts to choose from and the options are endless. From classical to jazz to hard rock, the options are endless.
First off we have things that you should do. You should enjoy the time! You obviously spent money to get into the concert, so enjoy it. No matter where your seats are, live it up. You should also have a plan for arrival and departure. This included modes of transportation and times to get to certain places. Also knowing how many people you are going with to and from, and making sure that you check in with each other if taking multiple vehicles. You might get the idea that you aren’t in charge of other people, but the people you are going out with are more than likely your friends and who doesn’t care for their friends?
Now we can get into some of the things that you shouldn’t do. When you are attending a concert, you aren’t the only person there. It isn’t all about you. It’s not your viral moment. Be mindful of where you dance and who is around you. Don’t go around recording random people trying to get clout on social media. Everyone attending a concert just wants to have a good time. Why would you want to be the person thar ruins it for everyone? When you stay to yourself or your group, you are making it a better time for you and those who are also around you. Imagine someone working so hard to get tickets and they have their experience ruined because you wanted to record them without permission. Another thing, watch your volume when singing. Yes some songs require more volume than others, but don’t go overboard with it. People didn’t pay to come and hear you, they paid to hear the artist. So, respect that.
